The Sand Eel, depending on size and area known as ohnago, kamasunago, kounago, is an important bait fish in Bassday’s home areas of Ise Bay and Hokkaido. The slim form of this ‘match the bait’ metal jig replicates its difference in size depending on area and season. When jerked it gives a slight wobble, but falls horizontally with a vibrating action.
